It was an idiotic move disabling it.

I used it sparingly to emphasize on links (elsewhere). I hated to see it turned off too.

I also have some old images that used a lake class to give that mirror look — boy does that feel like a long time ago -— then again, a lot does these days.

I read elsewhere that he had the Gawd awful drapes that Obama had installed taken down immediately. Was probably tired of the muslim colors in them.

Did W actually put his feet on the Oval Office desk? If he did, my opinion of him has dropped even lower.

The Oval Office desk is a very valuable (priceless) museum piece, it belongs to the People of the United States, and NO ONE has the right to put their feet on it!!! I didn’t expect Obama to respect the Oval Office, I knew he was trash. I expected better of W. Although I haven’t seen a photo of Bill Clinton putting his feet on the desk, it wouldn’t surprise me if he did, he is also trash.

Ronald Reagan wouldn’t even take his suit jacket off in the Oval Office, he revered everything about being POTUS with awe and respect. What a patriot and gentleman he was!

Perhaps your friend never noticed Obama's tacky maroon drapes, which President Trump just removed. They were hideous.

Personally, I think the Oval Office now looks much more dignified and stately. He'll likely soon add several more personalized touches to that office to suit his taste, which is no doubt, orders of magnitude better than Obie's.
