WASHINGTONPresident Donald Trump starts his first week with a packed schedulefrom pushing through his slate of cabinet nominees to a raft of executive orders and setting the direction on foreign trade.
Mr. Trump is planning executive actions early in the week on immigration and trade, two White House officials said, and will have a chance to lay the groundwork for a trade deal during a meeting Friday with British Prime Minister Theresa May , the first foreign leader to visit the new president in the White House. He also will meet with congressional leaders on Monday and attend a lawmakers retreat later in the week, where he could discuss his legislative agenda.
The presidents pick to run the Central Intelligence Agency, Kansas Rep. Mike Pompeo, is scheduled for a confirmation vote in the Senate on Monday, and White House officials expect at least three more cabinet nomineesBen Carson for Housing and Urban Development, Nikki Haley as United Nations ambassador and Rick Perry for energy secretaryto face votes by weeks end.
Rex Tillerson, meanwhile, on Sunday cleared a key hurdle on his path to become secretary of state.

Told you we were going to win. :)
Schumer is a subhuman snake
This is a dig on Trump when the Media wasn't reporting properly on verifiable events.
FUWSJ!
MJ says Trump had a great day on Sunday.
Thank you!
He needs to get Congress to pass:
A LINE ITEM VETO.......so that bills cannot be passed when crap is inserted into them which a line item veto would repair. LINE ITEM VETO is necessary-—NOW.
Also -— Bills in Congress need to be ONE ITEM bills. Too many bills have other items piggybacking on them which no one ever hears about. IF the American people knew how many bills have passed Congress that had hidden bombs inside them, they would burn the building to the ground.
Might be considered a ‘Heavy Slate’ for politicians more concerned with staying in office than doing the job hey are supposed to do-—
BUT for Donald J Trump-—this is a NORMAL kind of work day.
I have known people that were very successful at what they did-—But they didn’t live by the clock. They worked to get the job done. I have known race teams that would be up against a deadline to start their racing season & had to leave the shop with all their cars & spares & tools by a certain deadline. That last week would have a couple of ‘72 Hour Burn Downs” in it. They would work straight thru to finish up & get the semi loaded.
A heavy slate...or as Trump would say, “3 hours of work. What’s next?”
Indeed. I'll never forget how the press incessantly referred to GWB as 'Mr Bush' for eight long years.
We will not let them get away with that sort of underhanded insult with President Trump.
The weight is now gone, but my back is still stooped. I'm hoping that a good long regimen of 'winning' will straighten it out.
That's the biggie right there. It's the one that got him elected. It's also the one thing that will bring the greatest amount of positive change to the country.
I LOVE your profile page! You seem like a stand-up guy!
Lived in Texas for a while when I was young... Great state, great people! :)
Thank you for the kind words, friend. I appreciate that.
