Oh, I’m so glad you got some rain! Y’all need it nearly as bad as West Texas does! Maybe it won’t be too windy. It’s been driving me bonkers! I noticed it was windy at nearly every nest I checked on this morning. Since I didn’t need that sound to come from outside AND on the computer, I left the sites pretty quick!
I wish Dale Hollow had a mic. It’s almost too quiet there! LOL!
We’re thrilled to get it. I do my readings midnight to midnight and just dumped the gauge. 1.7 inch today. Most has been soaking rain but there have been a few heavy downpours.
It’s probably going to get pretty windy since they have the wind advisory up. We get a lot of strong wind here so it’s nothing new. I’d rather have that than the tornados that hit south of us.
Poor Ma Berry has had a rough day at her nest. That tree has been rockin’! The poor NE eaglets were trying so hard to squeeze underneath Juliet to stay dry. LOL!
I just turn the speakers off if there’s a lot of wind making a racket on the mics, and that was the case this evening.
I saw in chat at the Dale Hollow cam that they’re trying to raise money for a mic. If they manage to do it, we’ll have sound next year. That would be nice!
