I rarely go to movies any longer and look to the two of you for ones that I might like. I’m thinking I might like to see La La Land as from the few clips I’ve seen it looks like there is music and dancing and I love musicals (dramas, too) and appears to have some romantic bits in it :-)

I will NOT go to LaLa Land or ever watch it. It is one with stars who are obnoxious #never trumpets.

LOTS of good alternatives.. truly... some are still at theaters but some now with DVD etc.

My suggestions (but a few of the folk are mildly yucky RATS) .. Hacksaw Ridge, sully; magnificent seven; eye in the sky; 13 hours in Benghazi; the accountant; snowden; passengers; girl on a train; keeping up with jones; deepwater horizon; MISS PEREGRINE’S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN; Lion; a light between oceans

okay.. I am sure there are more.. these are just a few of the ones have seen and can recommend.. and I may have left some off list as I have SFB much too often

LOL

time to get back to my Balladci book

La La Land looks like a fun movie to me.

This is a very good review:

I like Ryan Goslings acting, loved him in The Notebook.
