I will NOT go to LaLa Land or ever watch it. It is one with stars who are obnoxious #never trumpets.
LOTS of good alternatives.. truly... some are still at theaters but some now with DVD etc.
My suggestions (but a few of the folk are mildly yucky RATS) .. Hacksaw Ridge, sully; magnificent seven; eye in the sky; 13 hours in Benghazi; the accountant; snowden; passengers; girl on a train; keeping up with jones; deepwater horizon; MISS PEREGRINE’S HOME FOR PECULIAR CHILDREN; Lion; a light between oceans
okay.. I am sure there are more.. these are just a few of the ones have seen and can recommend.. and I may have left some off list as I have SFB much too often

This is why I don’t look at actors/actresses political views. La La Land is a good movie, the characters are good and that’s who I go to watch, not the actor or actress playing the character.

I did not know that.
Strike La La Land off the list, not that I would have seen it anyway, hubby and I go to movies together and I don’t think a dancing singing musical is his cup of tea.
Tried to get him to Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children as I have read all the books and enjoyed them immensely, never happened, Hacksaw Ridge was playing at the same time so..... but I will buy the movie.
