If the threads get "too large" (relative words I realize) and I have chosen desired thread posters, we can examine that.
Right now I am looking for 3 SKILLED in HTML folk who are willing to do ONE WEEK a month of being in charge of thread. It involves a LOT more than throwing up the initial ahead on Sunday.
I have had a few folk contact me re: various ways of help and a few weeks will be adding a few more posters. The thread posters need to have adequate time to be with the thread their week, and not just 15 minutes in the evening. Setting up a decent thread takes a bit of time. So I am being selective in the 3 new head posters. Lots of additional help with pingers and a few other "jobs" with less HTML needed.
Ideally the thread posters will be east coast or willing to be up early enough to put up the thread by mid morning. You do NOT just throw up a thread in 5 minutes. More to share on all this next week. But there is a lot more involved with archiving, manpower, the little extras that you will all be seeing added the next few weeks.
Just like Trumps new presidency... we are a new work in progress. We will evolve, get better, be more exciting, and be true to the purpose. and I have learned that MORE is NOT always BETTER--quality surpasses quantity.

Yes, I have been INTO movies since my mom’s twin took me to my first “big girl” movie when I was 10 (The Man with the Golden Arm). At 10 I was not as knowledgeable as our president’s son.. not street smart and pretty naive .. saying that about him as did you see his FB and Twitter pages? wow. So I am not sure I got the message of the movie but loved getting caught up in the story, sound, visuals.
But I digress. I give movie producers a LOT of leeway with what they give us . THE WORD DOCUMENTARY is quite different than movies “based on a true story” or “INSPIRED by a true story”. Artistic license makes things good. Even with movies that are fiction based on a novel or other work.
Back to the movie I first saw (yes, I did go to Saturday cartoons at theater, but quite different). I didn’t really understand the movie. (about a junkie) but realized years later that this related big time to my aunt. She had moved in with us and stayed with us a few years. She had moved from NYC.. I realize now that she was either a recovered, still into, or had a lot of friends that way.
She died at 47, just months before my wedding of alcoholism issues.

And so true about both sexes in so many ways.
Something I learned the hard way, don’t talk to hubby about important things when he is watching TV, I’ve had to add, when on the computer. He will not hear me and swear later I never told him, many arguments ensued.

Are you and I sisters? Is your hubby my hubby brother? 35 years of marriage and he’s still my best friend.
The fact is this is the SHOW DESK.. not the working desk. We have all seen DJT’s office in NYC.
My bet is that he will do the Resolute desk. Historically and visually this is HIM.
For his working desk, well, who knows what he will use. Perhaps bring his other one from Trump Tower? And a lot of his special momentoes.
I think one of the hardest things for us to grasp is that he has essentially walked away from the life he has had for 40-50 years. Doubtful he will return for it.
New and Different. Challenges that surpass his prior heavy challenges.
He is still the guy that likes first class and Blingy stuff but he is going to get more into the other now..

Something that should happen today is the confirmation by the Senate of Rex Tillerson.
It is snowing here, adding to the 18+ on ground already.
I do the same thing with historical movies and also crime movies. The internet has made it harder for Hollywood to tell the story without fact checkers. The movie about Margaret Thatcher was really botched.
