I was there on the day when the Tea Party did their big ‘show’. I can remember a dozen-odd folks riding around with golf-carts and continually picking up trash and ensuring the grounds stayed neat. By 6PM when I walked off from the Lincoln Memorial area....there just wasn’t any trash on the street.

When hubby and I left the Capitol grounds after the Tea Party march, there wasn’t ONE item left on the ground, even BEFORE the park clean up crews arrived. All of the trash generated by the participants was either IN the cans provided, or stacked neatly next to them.
