I asked that the curse word be asterisked, if possible, as I didn’t catch it. I was more interested in the use of the definition of the column.
Also about compartments or silos where information is not available easily.

I haven’t heard the phrase “fifth column” since WW !!, but Trump is exactly right. The press has been taken over by a shadow government, and one that does not have our best interests at heart.
The abusive second sentence comes out of nowhere, as if the author is having a shouting match with an imaginary opponent, or maybe with the voices in his head.
It is also a reference to “stovepipes” in the Intelligence Community. They are also referred to as “lanes in the road”, as in “stay in your own lane”. Sounds as if he is going to put the “Multi” back into Multi-Int! :-)
It’s more serious than that
It involves sedition of the U.S. from within the CIA and maybe other intelligence agencies
Wonder what is really inspiring democrat and uniparty establishment to resist Trumps new CIA director from being confirmed ?
As usual, Trump is way ahead of the rest of us!
We used the phrase here on Free Republic to describe a rogue CIA group trying to take down the POTUS
I don’t like it either. Maybe it’s a spillover from Reddit. Anyway, it would be nice to keep FR more refined than some of the other message boards.
The MSM was continuously saying that Trump hates the CIA, and quoted Trump when he blasted the leak. Kelly Anne quoted Trump saying how much he respected the CIA workers. The MSM is trying to act as if they don’t know that that Trump was slamming the head honchos at CIA, not the CIA field workers.
The MSM is still lying. (They all repeated today’s talking points.) NONE of them mentioned the very warm reception Trump received at the CIA.

Things keep getting better. Trump is on top of the things that need to happen. The enemy is within and must be dealt with.
That’s what I thought too at first. I thought he was talking about “walls”. Yes, I see what he means.
