Sen. Orrin Hatch had to remind Democrats they were being enormously hypocritical when attacking Secretary of the Treasury nominee Steven Mnuchin.
Various senators on the Senate Committee on Finance, including Sen. Robert Menendez, pressed Mnuchin on offshore Cayman Island accounts.
One does not go and create offshore entities at the end of the day other than to avoid, in some form or fashion, the tax laws of the United States. Thats pretty simple, Menendez said. What you did may have been legal, but it certainly was to help people and entities avoid taxes.

Hatch is warming up his conservative act, he is up for re-election in 2018.
He voted for Rubio’s Gang of Eight amnesty, along with Corker, Heller and Flake who are also up in 2018.
All of them need to be Cantorized in the primary and replaced.
They are like geese, they wake up to a new world every day
Is it legal or not? If it is legal but needs to be corrected then legislate accordingly other wise continue with the selection process.
Indeed - but the Dems also know that the MSM will show their soundbites on the evening news and not show Hatch’s smackdown.
Hatch only spanks himself.
I’m eagerly waiting for Donald’s tweets to hatch. But I don’t want any to Hatch!
He’ll be 84 then. Time to retire, Orrin...And take Maverick with you.
McCain just got re-elected for another 6 years, his mother is 102, so he’ll probably get elected yet again because Arizona voters love Cheap Labor Express stooges like him, Flake and McSally.
