I have to agree as well. This was really the only choice Trump made that I did not understand. She does not seem like a foreign policy powerhouse. Or a powerhouse at all for that matter.
The only thing I know of that she accomplished is to bring down the Confederate flag....another bow to political correctness!!! Personally I don’t care who shows up at the UN....or for that matter if anyone shows up!!!
I see it as she is only a power conduit; Trump power.
She will not be given much initiative.
This just displays quite eloquently Trump's justifiable disdain for the UN, and she's the perfect pick to show the world that he isn't interested in the least in what the UN does or says.
IMHO
She only needs to follow the direction and goals set forth by the POTUS, nothing else.
