GREENSVILLE COUNTY, Va. -- Ricky Javon Gray was put to death by lethal ejection at 9.42 p.m. Wednesday at the Greensville Correctional Center in Greensville County.
Gray’s last appeal was denied hours before his execution when the U.S. Supreme Court rejected Gray's request for a stay of execution.
When officials asked Gray if he had any final words, he replied “nope,” according to CBS 6 reporter Jon Burkett, who observed the execution in the death chamber.
Burkett reports Gray declined his final meal before the execution.
Gray and his nephew Ray Dandridge shocked the Richmond community in January 2006 -- when they killed seven people in six days.
The 39-year-old was convicted of murdering parents Kathryn and Bryan Harvey, and their two young daughters, Ruby and Stella, on New Year's Day 2006.
The Harvey’s were found bound, beaten, and stabbed inside the basement of their Woodland Heights home. The home was also set on fire.
Gray received the death penalty for murdering the children.
Gray was also involved, though not convicted, in the murders of Ashley Baskerville, 21; her mother, Mary Tucker, 47; and stepdad, Percyell Tucker, 55.
Dandridge was given a life prison sentence after he was convicted for the killings of the Baskerville-Tucker family, five days after the Harvey murders.
Ashley Baskerville was with Gray and Dandridge during the Harvey family murder.

Could still be a lot faster but these appeals do slow it down.

Because the bleeding-heart libs feel that it is so “cruel & unusual” that the poor, little darlings that had such a poor childhood should have to suffer such a “horrific” punishment. Liberalism is a mental disease.
But yes....they should “Hang Em High”. Cheap, effective and saves a pile of taxpayer dollars.
FYI, in Goliad, TX, at the old town square by the courthouse, there stands a tree called the “Hanging Tree”. On nice weather days, they’d sometimes hold court outside on the courthouse lawn. People would pack a panic lunch and come from all around to watch the “proceedings”. They’d try these dirt bags and hang em all in the same motion. I think they had as many as 15 of these POSs hanging all at the same time on one occasion. Yeah, it needs to be brought back.

Obama has let hundreds out of prison, based on the lie they only committed non-violent crimes.

would be meaningless. As is, they have souls and hellfire is a definite possibility for them. God is merciful. For this we should be eternally grateful. God is also just. For this we should fear to offend Him.
Better to be yelled at by our kids then prematurely buried by them.
I do the same. I think about this poor family alot.
Those two were watching houses on the block. And noticed the one the girls were running in and out of, showing it wasnt locked. and picked that house.
I hope this guy had that same conversation and I hope someday to see him in Heaven. As He hung on the cross with the convicted criminal, Jesus was actually in the process of paying the full price for that man's crimes and sins as he was for this convicted murderer, ours, and everyone else's.
Our Justice System is speeding up - it only took them 11 years to get rid of this vicious killer. He did live longer on Death Row than those kids did on Planet Earth though.
