After recently witnessing that hideous effort by John Oliver (who IS he anyway?), I bring before you a much more accurate and less scatalogical effort. Enjoy.
How about ones they already have, like “Rule, Britannia”, or “God save the Queen”? The idea, after all was to retain their sovereignty.

LYRICS:
(Leave now)
Brussels weve got to go away
We need to escape the drain
Of your EU gravy train
Our departure must be brisk
We only think its a massive risk
If we stay another day
Dont you know youve gone too far now
Pulling wool over our eyes to ever closer ties.
(you see) weve got a problem with open bor-ders
and when you say, mass migrations here to stay.
Youve only just begun to fleece us
All I can say is we wont stay just one more day
(Leave now!)
Brussels weve got to go away
We need to escape the drain
Of your EU gravy train
Our fishermen want to catch our own fish
We only think its a massive risk
If we stay another day
You make our laws while we are sleeping
And even our Queen dont understand whats going on
So can you blame us for going our own-way?
How will you survive, without our five, million pounds each day?
Leave now!
Brussels weve got to go away
We need to escape the drain
Of your EU gravy train (Leave now)
Our departure must be brisk
We only think its a massive risk (Leave now!)
If we stay another day
The words of East 17s Christmas 1994 classic have been reworked by YouTube page Project Hope weve put some images over the top. No copyright infringement intended, no financial gain or commercial release; just a little fun.
Original song by HAWKEN, DOMINIC / KEAN, ROBERT JAMES / MORTIMER, ANTHONY MICHAEL. Published by © Universal Music Publishing Group. Original available on iTunes.
Both fine stirring tunes, but perhaps a little...staid? Certainly overused. This is a bit more...pointed, shall we say.
How about “We’re Not Gonna Take It”?
I like it!
How about “Go Your Own Way” By Fleetwood Mac?
Or “So Long, Farewell” From The Sound Of Music?

Too sentimental.
It should be something inspiring and really angry.
The song might be slow, but the lyrics aren’t sentimental, and anything angry will be immediately seized upon by the opposition as “hatemongering”, in spite of their own odious behavior
