Whoa, whoa, whoa, calm down there big fella. You know, even conservatives bicycle and own bikes for fun. I mountain bike in the woods and enjoy nature with my other conservative friends. You don’t have to be a lib to like riding bikes.
I don’t want to demean your pastime and enjoyment, but that kind of optics is a holdover from a much more degrading assessment by government and media about the typical voter/constituent.
We have a job to do. I say we because “we” put them there. It was not for optics or image. They can do this if they want but we don’t need to hear it or be concerned about discussing it, frankly.
