Let us pray that they find more exemplary medicines like aspirin, and fewer destructive medicines like heroin, both of which were invented by Bayer.
Both are good medicines when used as intended, just as both are bad when abused. If you don’t believe me start abusing aspirin and enjoy the ulcers they will give you eventually.
Bayer is the old nazi company IG Farben. They are in the process of buying GMO giant Monsanto.
I think they want the deal to go through and are trying to clean up their image and horrible history.
Point taken. One could always go back to the "original" white willow bark that Bayer methylized into aspirin, though there are alternatives available these days.
I think the only way heroin could be considered a "good medicine" would be as a palliative in hospice care, certainly not as the cough suppressant it was invented to be. FWIW, I say that as a caregiver for someone, with MS and degenerative back issues, who has been in pain management for over a decade now.
Pray that they find a medicine against the pain of neuropathy in feet. There are too many quacks on the market that claim to have developed such a medicine already.
Jobs keep pouring in. SJWs and libs keep whining about racism and Russia. Just another example of actions speaking louder than words
There is always room for more winning!
That is true, however what is also true is that abusing them also causes problems. Tylenol for example will damage the liver, I believe it is, if you abuse it. Really even natural remedies done to excess are probably harmful in some manner. The key is abuse, as it is the real culprit.
I think Bayer has always been Bayer. Hoechst AG had lineage from IG Farben, but I don’t know who owns them now.
