Democrats believe they can win back rural voters by ratcheting up their pre-election mission of moving the country from fossil fuels to green energy.

This is fundamentally a jobs message, Washington Gov. Jay Inslee told reporters last week in reference to Democrats renewed focus on green energy.
.

.
Inslee wants Washington legislators to pass a carbon tax that would raise an estimated $2 billion in revenue to pay for education funding and various clean energy projects.

Sop funny! Rural voters know green when they see it and also brown, as in liberal bullshit.
hey...just like the tobacco settlements went for tobacco education and cessation programs.....
It might help if they stop preaching hate Whitey.
Green energy to bring in corn crops for green energy is like perpetual motion. Like Bush, liberals think that growing saw grass will make the US viable in self energy.
Apparently ethanol has worked well for farmers. A bit of a boondoggle (IMO).
And when we finally figure it that it is all a dud, it will be too late. Energy (heating our home, fuel for our cars, food,... EVERYTHING) will be unaffordable. We need cheap energy and right now green energy cant cut it... and it never will.
What TRUMP voter would listen to legislators who skip out on TRUMP’S inauguration? RURAL TRUMP VOTERS are PATRIOTIC!
Since it hasn’t resulted in appreciable jobs in 8 years, it won’t work now.
Dems are just plain stupid!
“Like Bush, liberals think that growing saw grass will make the US viable in self energy.”
Now, if we can design an engine that runs on kudzu...
So, here’s the formula.
We know what’s best for you.
We want to you do what we want.
We will first take away your options.
Then we will force you to make purchases you don’t want.
It will cost more.
Shut up, we know what is best.
Do this. Or else.
Send us a thank you note to make us feel good.
We love greens, turnip, mustard, poke salad
I wholeheartedly agree. :)
Yeah. Like where they idle all the coal miners and then retrain them for solar panel installation jobs. Except those Green jobs pay a fraction of what they used to make and mostly don’t exist. Oops.
You should find a wild patch of creasy greens and try those. It’s actually wild watercress. Grows all over the place in milder temperate climates, well into winter. First green of the spring, too. A little on the pungent side but if you can hang with mustard greens and poke wallet you can hang with creases.
