Also, I concur that if leaders come and go, then it stands to reason that TRUMP will have to go deeper than just cutting off the *heads* of the IC agencies.
I said as much in another thread that *appointees* oversee and lead, but as you report there are those underlings willing to do the nefarious bidding, the dirty work, for these nefarious *heads*.
These people will quietly disappear over time if rooted out and exposed.
If TRUMP folds up and shrinks these agencies, bringing the Intel “Community” to manageable numbers, there will be some very sore actors found to be jobless. Look out.
Yep. I am amazed that he and the people he has selected in his cabinet are even willing to try this, but thank God for their efforts.
Trump’s been pretty consistent on a lot of issues over the years, and could go a long way toward restoring our Republic, I think. But the alligators will be nipping and the snakes will be striking every time they see an opportunity.
Even more interesting, the head of the CIA that he fired, Allen Dulles, was part of the commission to investigate the assassination. Pretty interesting that a person who would normally be a suspect, would be allowed on the investigation.
Kennedy also fired the Chair of the Joint Chiefs over Operation North Woods - a plan to perform a false flag attack and kill American people and blame it on Cuba, so that there would be an excuse to invade and oust Castro.
He had told J Edgar Hoover that he would have to comply with the mandatory retirement, but LBJ let him stay as long as he wanted.
I used to be pretty naïve I guess. Totally shocked to find out about Operation North Woods, and the CIA mind control experiments and other disgusting stuff they did.
When Kennedy was assassinated, my Grandmother immediately said LBJ ordered it. I thought that highly unlikely. However, according to some unclassified documents, the KGB thought so too. I read that Jackie hired French Intelligence agents to investigate and they said the same.
I thought at the time, It was likely Castro hiring mob assassins, and Bobby signed off on it, and it was sealed for decades to avoid nuclear war.
Lee Harvey Oswald, I always thought was a patsy, and likely a low level CIA double agent who was not very successful, and therefore expendable.
In later life, LBJ told several people that it was Castro that was behind it.
I don’t think the Secret Service was involved though.
E. Howard Hunt, of the CIA stated on taped video that it was traced to LBJ. He also put it in writing, and asked his son to make it public after his death.
He also claimed that his wife, Dorothy was killed in plane crash caused by the CIA. That’s why he went ahead and plead guilty to the Watergate charges, because he knew his son would be next. Hunt supposedly had retired from the CIA, but was actually undercover for the CIA, at the Whitehouse to keep an eye on Nixon for the CIA.
But who knows for sure. It was a time I’ll never forget. My Dad and I were sitting and watching the TV when Lee Harvey Oswald was shot. At that time, I said now we’ll never know for sure, and my Dad said you are right.
I have lived through some interesting times in History-today we are living through an exciting and epic time.
