Carr: Obama legacy a big lie, let me count the ways

On fake news “60 Minutes” tonight, Obama will make this incredible statement:

“I’m proud of the fact that with two weeks to go, we’re probably the first administration in modern history that hasn’t had a major scandal in the White House.”

Can someone say Big Lie? There’s not room enough in this whole newspaper to list all the scandals, big and small, that have enveloped this most corrupt of all regimes in American history, modern or otherwise.

One website last week came up with 633, and they missed more than a few!

Just for starters, Hillary Clinton is probably beseeching him right now for a pardon, given the crimes she committed as his highest-ranking Cabinet official. Ya think Hillary’s a little concerned now about the deplorables?

Here are a few others Obama and his courtiers have apparently forgotten:

• Benghazi, and the video lie.

• Fast and Furious, the assault-rifle-running scheme to Mexican drug cartels that left at least two Americans dead.

• “If you like your doctor … .”

• Congress allowed to exempt itself from Obamacare.

• Cash for Clunkers.

• Shovel-ready jobs that weren’t.

• The Mideast “apology tour,” where he referred to America’s “Muslim founding fathers. . ."

AND THIS....Pres Trump needs to suggest AG Sessions write an inquiry letter to the US Dept of the Treasury to ask what RAHM AND Obama were doing in the US Treasury after Obama got elected. THE SMOKING GUN---WSJ REPORT--On Jan 20, 2009 Timothy Geithner was appointed Obama's Secy of the Treasury. But within three weeks, the Obama White House tightened its grip on Treasury. Obama put his COS, Rahm Emanuel, in charge of Treasury---Rahm Emanuel's dual role was an unusual move.

When he got to Treasury, WH COS Rahm Emanuel was so involved in the inner workings that the phrase "Rahm wants it" had become an unofficial mantra among subservient govt staffers, prostrate in obeisance, scurrying to accede to Rahm's wishes, according to Treasury government officials. Money Market Mutual Fund: In September 2008, the Treasury controlled by Obama/Emanuel announced that it would insure the holdings of publicly offered money market mutual funds. According to the Special Inspector General for the Troubled Asset Relief Program (SIGTARP), these guarantees could have potentially cost the federal government more than $3 trillion [PDF].

Public-Private Investment Fund: This joint Treasury-Federal Reserve program bought toxic assets from banks and brokerages—as much as $5 billion of assets per firm. According to SIGTARP, the government's potential exposure from the PPIF is between $500 million and $1 trillion [PDF].

TARP: As part of the Troubled Asset Relief Program, the Treasury controlled by Obama/Emanuel made loans to or investments more than 750 banks and financial institutions. $650 billion has been paid out (not including HAMP; see below). As of December 21, 2009, $117.5 billion of that has been repaid.

Government-sponsored enterprise (GSE) stock purchase: The Treasury controlled by Obama/Emanuel bought $200 million in preferred stock from Fannie Mae and another $200 million from Freddie Mac [PDF] to show that they "will remain viable entities critical to the functioning of the housing and mortgage markets."

GSE mortgage-backed securities purchase: Under the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008, the Treasury controlled by Obama/Emanuel may buy mortgage-backed securities from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. According to SIGTARP, these purchases could cost as much as $314 billion ---SNIP---.

Here are my top Obama scandals:

Benghazi
Having a Secretary of State conducting foreign policy off the grid (for profit)
The Iranian nuke deal
The IRS going after conservative groups
Fast and Furious
Obama's blatant and willful failure to enforce illegal immigration laws
His birth certificate. (I am not a birther, but Obama, had he had a genuine birth certificate, could have ended the controversy before he took office. He just felt that we the people did not have a right to see it. The one he finally produced is suspect, to say the least.

And no one ever seems to mention his trillion dollar stimulus package that didn't seem to fix much of the nation's infrastructure.

After Eric Holder’s role as bag man in the Marc Rich pardon scandal most people considered him corrupt. That’s why Obama chose him as AG. Holder lied, stonewalled and obstructed what should have been criminal indictments in Fast and Furious, the Black Panther voter intimidation case, IRS political targeting, etc.

Huge numbers of Americans who had decent health insurance coverage before Obamacare now have insurance in name only. They pay out incredible amounts of money in premiums and deductibles before the insurance pays a penny. Any real problems that existed prior to Obamacare were miniscule compared to the problems it CREATED. We don’t need to repeal and REPLACE it, we need to kill the whole thing and get the government OUT of healthcare.

What he means is that none of the scandals were publicized or prosecuted; and that's because they had a firm grip on the investigators, and the press.

It's kind of like saying the Harlem Globetrotters are undefeated- yeah because every game is fixed.
