I don't care what Lewis did in the past to gain hero status which he certainly deserves.

However......He was absolutely wrong in calling President elect Trump illegitimate.

Trump did not say anything bad back....just stated facts.

It's the press that has produced a run away on this. What's new.

It is certainly fair to ask the question; Were these people sincere civil rights advocates or useful idiots for the left? Looking back we see the left always uses the guise of social justice to acquire political power. LBJ certainly recognized the political advantage of creating a welfare plantation.
There is no doubt that MLK would be called an Uncle Tom today because of his desire for equal rights and not special rights.
