The term "dead" is dehumanizing and wrong. They are simply people with an alternate "life state" who are "life impaired". And the only reason they are impaired is prejudice against them by the living.

In many cases they are being buried in little boxes or even burned.

Since they are already fairly life-deprived and unfairly treated by society, it seems especially perverse to try to take away their food stamps and voting rights.
