During last night’s NBC Dateline special on President Obama‘s legacy, the outgoing Commander-in-Chief reflected on 2016 and the “surprise” he felt at Donald Trump‘s win.
He told Lester Holt that he thinks he and his team are pretty good at seeing things coming––but not Trump’s victory. Part of that, Obama said, is due to the fact that the polling was so off.
He admitted there was a lot of disappointment at Hillary Clinton‘s loss, as well as the broader loss for the Democratic party.
Obama conceded, “I had trouble transferring my personal popularity or support to the broader cause of the Democratic party.”
He said it was difficult for him to both run the country and rebuild the “grassroots party apparatus” his part

Just another in a long line of examples of showing how very very well off one would be if you bought someone for what they were worth and then find a sucker to buy them for what they think they are worth.
The libs are so f’d up they fail to realize that when the powers that be saw HRC was floundering, they wheeled out weewillie and when that wasn’t working, BO jumped in and tried to sell the idea that SHE was just going to carry on his plan.
He thought he was winning when in fact it just solidified the anti HRC crowd...
I will even admit that the possibility is very huge that BO probably would had prevailed had he been able to run.
