Donald Trump is planning to hold a summit with Vladimir Putin within weeks of becoming president — emulating Ronald Reagan’s Cold War deal-making in Reykjavik with Mikhail Gorbachev.
Trump and his team have told British officials that their first foreign trip will be a meeting with the Russian leader, with the Icelandic capital in pole position to host the superpower talks as it did three decades ago.

Trump meeting Putin in Reykjavik is both symbolic and appropriate. Reykjavik is half way between New York city and Moscow. But, the most important thing, regardless of where the two leaders meet, is that they meet and talk about their differences in a calm, mature manner.
More in common - especially against Islam than there are differences. Islam & the various Arab states/”-stans” are the common enemy.

The Deep State traitors might launch a coup while Trump is in Iceland (like Soviet Commies did against Gorbachev in 1991 when he went on vacation). Trump might have to govern from Iceland or even Moscow until things get sorted out back here and he is put back in power.

Yep. Presidents come and go. NATO has kept the peace for 70 years. Abandoning our democratic allies in favor of one party state fascist Russia is not acceptable. I have no doubt President Trump will sooon understand that more clearly because the alternative is too awful to consider.
