Does the global economy demand a massive internationally linked military- industrial complex that justifies itself by the threat of war, “ deterrence of war” “ mutually assured destruction in case of war’ or even being jump started and reset by an actual war?

That seems to be the precipice on which we are dangling

All of those scenarios, politically, require enmities

That is why rival leaders like Trump and Putin willing to openly discuss cooperation are so threatening to “ global order’

This sounds just like Occupy Wall Street or BLM.

It’s amazing how the media has made old communist propaganda in to “conventional wisdom”. How much this communist talking point has been internalized in our society.

The global elite depend upon constant fear from “enemies,” both real and constructed, in order to manipulate governments into actions of the elite's choosing. They will invest in both sides of a conflict so that regardless of which side wins, they still make money/power. The global elite cannot propagate so long as the world is in a general state of homeostasis, hence the Fabian Socialists notion of “order out of chaos.” The world has been in series of global conflicts since at least 1912, and the elites' power has increased exponentially. Any version of nationalism, esp Trump's version of nationalism that explicitly rejects globalism, is a tremendous threat because he is essentially proposing a US policy of noninterference in world affairs while turning toward strengthening America at home. Everything Trump is proposing to do is essentially anti-globalism, which is why they are doing everything they can to destroy him; and the main thing right now is the obsession with Russia as our latest existential threat.
