Trump to John Lewis: Fix your ‘horrible’ Atlanta district

President-elect Donald Trump labeled a congressional district that sweeps through the heart of Atlanta as a crime infested area that is in horrible shape in an early-morning tweet Saturday aimed at one of his most outspoken Democratic critics.
The Republican was unloading at Georgia Rep. John Lewis, who has represented the Atlanta district since his 1986 election, after the civil rights icon made national headlines when he told NBCs Meet the Press that he will skip Trumps inauguration next week.
Congressman John Lewis should spend more time on fixing and helping his district, which is in horrible shape and falling apart (not to mention crime infested) rather than falsely complaining about the election results, Trump said in a pair of Twitter messages. All talk, talk, talk no action or results. Sad!

Hillary won by 3 million votes... and by 14 million votes in the top 100 most populous counties. (Trump won by 11 million in the "left-over" 3,041 counties.)
I wonder how many of those most-populous counties are "sanctuary cities", and what her lead was in those counties alone. Hmmmm....

Does Lewis have the areas where the crime is so bad the post office doesn’t deliver the mail? There have been many such areas in Atlanta since 1986.

Of course it is correct
Dems are having a harder and harder time finding anything but crime and thuggery in some areas. I note that those who could afford it moved out to Smyrna and Vinings a while ago.

John Lewis is not a legitimate U.S. Representative. After all, the U.S. Supreme Court mandated the creation by gerrymandering of majority-minority districts. He represents one of those districts so without the meddling of the U.S. Supreme Court he would likely not have been elected. By his own reasoning, he is not a legitimate U.S. Representative.
Says it all right there for every member of the Congressional Negro Caucus.

Nonsense- the democrat party was firmly against the civil rights movement. Don’t let the democrats rewrite history. Remember Byrd? The kkk wizard was a leading democrat for decades. He was embraced by them, including the Colin one. Check the party lines on real civil rights voting.

I was just saying that the Civil Rights movement had some legitimacy...nothing about the Democrats, who fought it non-stop in South.

Trump should hold a pretty inauguration rally in Atlanta and ask that very question.

When Trump labels you as ‘Sad’ you can almost feel the “Thud”. It’s a rhetorical punctiation mark.
