I’m running across a lot of material she recorded in the 80s.

I went to the store for a vaporizer and was going to put her in the bathroom with it. But they had small personal vaporizers - - Kind of like a nebulizer but it uses steam.
I get it steaming and hold her head by the face mask and she breathes the steam and Vapo-Rub and it’s doing a nice job already.

She’s had a stuffy head since she showed up here years ago as a kitten but it’s been getting worse the past year or two. We’ve tried antibiotics and they help, and she had a shot a week ago. Too soon for any other meds so I decided to try vapor for now. Glad I did. She just ate some food after not eating at all yesterday or today up til now.

I think having windows cracked open and salty air coming inside fired her sinuses up this week. Ours are certainly fired up. Ugh. We wish it would rain and wash the salt off the highway so it would stop being kicked up in the air by passing cars.

I went by my transmission guys shop today to let them check my car out for a 500 mile look/see to make sure all is well and it was.

Anyway, while I was waiting inside the office, their "office cat", Buddy, a big male calico cat came up to me and demanded petting. I petted the heck out of him and so he followed me around demanding more love until I left, cats are cool. :-)

My kids are moving from OKC to WY starting tomorrow. I’m a basket case thinking of what they might have to drive through.

I try to take good care of them. Obnoxious as they are at times, they’re still my babies. :-)

Several years ago, one of the cats had an upper-respiratory thing going on that nothing worked on. The vet had a partner for a short time and he had a nebulizer for use on calves and foals. He let me borrow it and it worked wonders.
When I saw the small vaporizer, I hoped it would work better than a standard one and it seems to be doing the trick. She just needs her head opened up so she can breathe.

Glad the transmission’s holding up well. Wouldn’t be fun being without a vehicle again while they do more repairs!

Are you sure that cat’s a male? Male calicos are quite rare.
