Joe Biden is known for getting along with politicians on both sides of the aisle, but one former Republican congressman wasn’t happy about the vice president being awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Barack Obama on Thursday.
Former Republican Rep. Tim Huelskamp of Kansas took to Twitter on Thursday night to voice his disapproval, tweeting: “For once, @JoeBiden and I agree: he doesn’t deserve this honor.”

JFKerry should receive one so that he can throw it away at the same place where he pitched his Purple Hearts.
He missed the fact that this was a Participation Award....
It was “Loose Lips Biden” that exposed SEAL Team 6 so the Taliban could shoot down the helicopter that killed all 38 on board including 22 SEALS. He must have known that in a war zone mixed in with spies that SEAL Team 6 would have been a top target. But did he do it with Obama’s Blessing?

True enough but consider Obama's record. He devalued the Nobel Peace Prize merely by accepting it. He devalued the MOF by handing it out like candy to a slew of people whose only qualification seems to be they supported him. He even awarded himself the Department of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service, because, by golly, he deserved it. Just ask him.
Among other great accomplishments of his tenure Obama leaves us with a legacy of trivialized awards for what was once meaningful public service. That is just so him.
