A woman walking in the woods near the Boathouse at Fletcher’s Cove on Wednesday found a violin case containing at least one firearm, and police said they discovered other weapons strewn along the C&O Canal.

At least a dozen police officers descended on the area near the boathouse late Wednesday morning. Authorities called in an explosive ordnance disposal unit, or bomb squad, to help with the search as additional weapons were found.

“At this point, we don’t know how they got there, why they’re here or when they got here,” said Sgt. Anna Rose, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Park Police, which has jurisdiction over the area that runs along the Potomac River.

The article did not specifically mention the order as coming from Trump or Obama, but from "the president." Since Obama is the president now, and the order came now, I assume it came from Obama. I don't want to get caught up in the exact moment the order takes effect (12:00 or 12:01 or whatever), but it seems to me that an order issued now must come from the sitting president.

The timing of this may be because the plan is to change commanders at a critical time, causing chaos and then blaming it on Trump. After all, the general was relieved when Trump was sworn in, right? And, he is black, so a racist Trump relieved a black general as soon as he was sworn in. Never mind the facts, the press will send out that story.

If that werew so...Trump could promptly re-apppoint him at 12.02.
