Will President Obama pardon Hillary Clinton before he leaves office? A question curiously non-discussed in the media.
However, when you accept that CNNs broadcasted narratives, ie. the preferred positions of the U.S. Department of State, are generally good predictors of the political forecast, all signs point to yes.

Nixon was charged with obstruction of justice, abuse of authority and defiance of Committee subpoenas. The Beast hasn’t been FORMALLY accused or charged with ANYTHING. BO better hurry up and bring some federal charges if he wants to pardon her.
“Ford committed an error and we should not be bound by it”
By comparison, Nixon was busting open gumball machines and stealing loose change.
A presidential pardon is a right granted to the President of the United States by the U.S. Constitution to forgive a person for a crime, or to excuse a person convicted of a crime from punishment.
The presidents power to pardon is granted by Article II, Section 2, Clause 1 of the Constitution, which provides: The President shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offenses against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.
Define - A pardon is a government decision to allow a person who has been convicted of a crime to be free and absolved of that conviction, as if never convicted.
Obama may give a Reprieve (cancel or postpone the punishment).
I’m no law expert (but judging by many the actions of many of our Senators, Reps. and Judges neither are they), but I don’t think ANYONE other than God has the power to pardon crimes that haven’t yet been charged.
No doubt legions of Hillary cronies WANT Obama to pardon her, to take the air out of appointing a Special Prosecutor. Special Prosecutors usually rack up a lot of convictions for crooks surrounding the Big Fish, as a by-product and method for forcing piglets to squeal. Thousands of State Dept cronies, DNC operatives, Clinton Foundation grafters, dirty-tricksters, foreign agents, corrupted media stooges, etc., would derive a major personal benefit from a Hillary pardon. Small wonder they are all abuzz framing necessary narratives and such. My hunch: they’ll be disappointed, unless Obama fears the backwash will get on HIM. I think he despises Hillary.
Pardoning her would pretty much knock the Clintons out of positions of control in the Party.
“A pardon is not immunity.”
I believe what a pardon means is any crimes covered by the pardon can not be prosecuted by the federal government. However, the Clinton Foundation violated dozens of laws and it can probably be sued by every state where it has conducted business and by countries such as Haiti. In Haiti a huge chunk of the US taxpayers dollars that were funneled through the Clinton Foundation (no conflict there) were syphoned to Foundation expenses. (The funds went first to the UN and after Hillary paid the UN a visit, they went into the Clinton Foundation.)
The IRS can get involved. Also, individuals can sue in civil court because Hillary’s acceptance of the pardon is, by established court opinion, an admission of guilt.
A pardon is a double-edged sword and it cuts both ways. She will not skate free.
Nixon was not indicted for anything. Nixon was pardoned by Ford.
I'm not a lawyer but IIRC Nixon was *accused* of *various* crimes by *many* individuals/bodies but he was never formally *charged* with a crime.IIRC he was never officially indicted by a grand jury *or* formally charged with a crime by a Federal prosecutor.
But I surely could be wrong on this.
IF she IS charged with a criminal act you can bet she would enter a Alford Plea as a last resort.
They’re probably crafting the text right now to cover “crimes committed and those yet to be committed”.
Even if he tries to pardon her, Judge Napolitano said that there would still be recourse, but I can’t recall exactly what else she could still be prosecuted for.
I think it was Obama could pardon for the Federal crimes, but States could still prosecute related to the Foundation and the info on Weiner’s laptop, and also Foreign Governments could extradite her for prosecution.
I just hope Hillary lives long enough to see the first woman president get elected eight years from now ... Ivanka Trump!
Impeached and pardoned nice way to end the Clinton legacy. I don’t think he does it though
Ford's action is something I do not agree with by the way. But he did it anyway.
The Constitution also says you need to be a naturalized citizen to be president (with both parents as citizens as well). But we got Barack Obama anyhow, when it is pretty obvious to me he did not meet the requirements. Or we would not have all this secrecy surrounding his early life. If it were otherwise, the Democrats would have tripped over themselves to provide the documentation that would made those questioning it look stupid (including Trump himself).
Pardon for what? I thought she didn’t do anything wrong. Did she lie?
How can he provide a pardon to her unless it covers every conceivable facet of her employment. He might pardon her regarding the emails, but how do you pardon someone from theft aka from the Clinton Foundation?
You are just wrong. Ford pardoned Nixon before any formal charges had been filed. Carter pardoned the draft dodgers before any charges had been filed. How would Obama pardoning Clinton be any different?
Yep

... [Pardon] extends to every [Federal] offence known to the law, and may be exercised at any time after its commission, either before legal proceedings are taken or during their pendency or after conviction and judgment.
This power of the President is not subject to legislative control. Congress can neither limit the effect of his pardon nor exclude from its exercise any class of offenders...
