See my post #86. There are many Jews in the US who hold both US and Israeli citizenship. There are also many Americans who hold EU country passports. Ireland will issue you an Irish passport under fairly liberal requirements.

The US may not endorse dual nationality/citizenship, but it recognizes it. A distinction without a difference.
