Speaking at the National Press Club Wednesday, outgoing Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz announced a new scientific integrity policy for an agency recently wracked by concerns about how an administration led by President-elect Donald Trump will treat employees who worked on climate change and other sensitive energy-related issues.
Its part of establishing the environment that allows scientist to do their work, to stay with us, and to recruit new people, Moniz said in announcing the new policy.
Moniz, a physicist, gave an example of his own role in negotiating the Iran nuclear deal. Seven of our laboratories were providing near real-time support to our negotiating positions in a highly technical negotiation, Moniz said, and I

That's a man, pretending to be a woman, pretending to be a man ....
That's a tranny trans-man ...
Two, if what passes for "climate science" was real science and had a shred of integrity, it would not need artificial protections. The fact that the scammers in place feel the need to try to stack the deck in their favor is yet another in a long long list of examples of how phony the whole global warming scam is.
Well, that worked in Oregon, didn’t it Gov. Kulongoski.
Are they an endangered species? Maybe they added them on the list..
Sounds like a double-standard. Surprise, surprise.
Cut their funding. End of story.
Is that Hair for when he’s in Drag ?
It won’t work Obamba!
Well, that means they can relax...for a week.
These geniuses must not know that it’s OUR money they are playing with. What the government gives, the government certainly can take away.
I think they haul that guy out every fundraising season on PBS. He looks public broadcasting anyway...
“Moniz, a physicist, gave an example of his own role in negotiating the Iran nuclear deal.”
That wasn’t overly bright. He should have picked an example where they didn’t make fools of themselves!

IRAN. That’s the REAL issue they want to protect. I wonder how much of the Iran deal is connected to this issue???
If the Department needs a scientific integrity policy, then it is probably lacking scientific integrity.
Scientific integrity... like they practice in the area of Climate Change?
Didn’t read the article because I won’t click on the WaPo, but read the short blurb. Agree, if Moinz is an example of the type scientist they employ, they are not scientists but political hacks masquerading as scientists — driven by their politics and not science. To use the Iran deal as an example of good science is absurd.
Recind, recind, recind.
LMAO!...It's Amazing how Trump can make them CUT THEIR OWN THROATS!....Trump can now appoint a real “scientific integrity offical” and fire 2/3rds of them for lack of integrity!!!....Will the winning ever stop!

And then .. we could (if we’re smart), elect Mike Pence for another 8 years.
Sounds good to me.
