My view is that the insinuations and allegations about murder and adultery were provocative in the extreme and deviously calculated to elicit a response from Ted Cruz. Incidentally, Sargon shares that view.

In the wake of these outrageous provocations, Ted Cruz accepted an invitation to speak at the convention, advised the Trump people of the nature of his speech, submitted the speech before it was delivered and received no objection from the Trump camp. Rather, Trump played a theatrical stunt by moving in to the camera range during the speech. Was it a set up?

In the wake of this outrageous provocation, and completely above board by submitting his remarks in advance, Ted Cruz committed the unforgivable sin of inviting Republicans to vote their conscience. How disloyal!

You place all responsibility for this affair on the shoulders of Ted Cruz but you make no allowance for his righteous indignation at the ugly and unnecessary hurt done to Cruz' family. Under the circumstances, Cruz behaved as well as might be expected of any son and husband. Did Trump?

If the nation was put at risk, Donald Trump deserves to be made accountable for his contribution.

Once again, screw the nation talk.

The election wasn’t about Tead and Trump.

It was about the future of our nation.

Did Tead intend to leave our nation? If not, he had a vested interest.

Here we are talking about Tead’s personal matters vs the fate of the Supreme Court and our nation.

For you and Tead, Tead’s concerns seem to be of more importance.

I’m sorry you don’t know this already, but you don’t burn the nation down because someone insults you.

If you as an individual called me everything in the book and trashed my family too, I’d still try to save you on the side of the road. It’s what decent folks do.

Here we’re talking about a whole nation of people on the side of the road needing help.

Nope! Tead’s feelings were hurt.

Good grief!

You never answered my question

Churchill was just as much a natural born citizen as Cruz, an American on one’s mother’s side.
Why would Congress bestow HONORARY citizenship on a natural born citizen?

Well yes, yes it was.

Nathan do you still ignore totally that Cruz was not and never shall be a Natural Born Citizen? You were not alone in that opinion, many Freepers decided he was or that it didn't matter, because Obama did it, but many many did not. We were just discourage from saying so here.
