No the Baltic countries of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania were invaded by Russia in 1941...

they are not friends of Russia and have Russian speaking people mainly because the “white Russians” fled there during the Russian Revolution, 1917...

Demographic russification of the Baltic countries started in the late 19th century under tsarist rule and was ramped up under the Soviets when they occupied the area. Most actual “white emigrés” who remained there, were caught, deported and killed by the Soviets in 1941 and 1944/45.
