Trump = John Wayne
Nieto = Lucky Ned Pepper
The Scene = Kate's Meadow
Who remembers that dialogue?

I was thinking more of the line earlier:
Ned, I mean to kill you in the next few minutes or take you back with me to hang at Judge Parker's convenience. Which will it be?
My favorite negotiating technique.

“He (Nieto) noted the U.S. government shared responsibility for the migrants seeking to reach the United States, and should also work to stop the southward flow of illegal weapons and illicit funds that helped finance organized crime in Mexico.”
Yeah, we shouldn’t have such nice things.
Nieto is a pinche cabron, like Fox.

I’d say a good opening negotiating position for Trump is “cease your acts of war immediately or we’ll f-ing nuke you by February”.

Animals and birds migrate.
Humans emigrate or immigrate.
Laws regulate.

Just legalize drugs and you can put drug traffickers out of business without firing a shot. You'd think the Prohibition era would have taught America a thing or two about trying to control people's personal choices through government mandate.
It doesn't work, and only serves to create black markets and criminal empires.

OK, decriminalize it. Then when a substantial number of those who partake freely have toked themselves into unemployability, it will be declared a disease and they'll go on SSI disability. Then we non-druggies end up paying for their BEHAVIOR. How will we handle that?

Mexico is so weak we really aught to be concerned about a civil war or revolution there.And which side to arm.

Simple. End welfare.
Let them die in their own juices.

Everyone. Encourage a second amendment, arm them all equally, let them sort it out.

People have been destroying themselves with alcohol and drugs since time immemorial. If you think big government can save them (or us) by force, you’re sadly mistaken, as Prohibition proved.
I don’t have the perfect answer, but I do know what doesn’t work.

If you think big government can save them (or us) by force, youre sadly mistaken, as Prohibition proved.I was complaining about the actions of government, not promoting it. If the care and feeding of the indigent-through-their-own-fault was not stolen from me and redistributed to them, then no problem. BEHAVIORS (drug and alcohol abuse, AIDS spreading activities, etc.) being treated as diseases by government picks my pocket, and yours as well.
To rephrase an old saying, millions for charity freely given; not a penny for charity stolen.*
*Millions for defense, not one cent for tribute.
