I get upset when I accidentally come across pictures of animals being hurt, but to see a child beaten, molested and murdered would stick with me for a very long time. I think it would devastate me.
But as someone has already pointed out, it is important work for these employees to find and report the videos. I would never last in that job.
I worked in the Las Colinas office in Texas for a couple of years in a capacity totally unrelated to this subject and practically have PTSD simply from the way they treated employees.
You'd still need a human review, to eliminate false positives. But only having to deal with the potential positives would cut the exposure a lot.
Yes, I think anything to cut the exposure would be good. I could not deal with it. God help the ones who have to. It is bound to hurt them.
