The saga over alleged Russian interference in the U.S. elections took another sinister turn Tuesday, as it was revealed that U.S. intelligence officials provided President-elect Donald Trump with a charge that the Russians had obtained dirt on him.
U.S. officials included a two-page synopsis of 'kompromat' – Russian for compromising material – as part of their security briefing of Trump on Friday.
The material was based on memos compiled by a British intelligence operative who was considered 'credible' by the U.S. intelligence community, CNN reported.
What is believed to be the 35-page document itself was published by Buzzfeed, which pointed out that it contained errors. Little of its contents can be independently verified.
Trump himself already dismissed the claims, tweeting: 'FAKE NEWS - A TOTAL POLITICAL WITCH HUNT!'

I listened to the video on CNN regarding a Russian Dossier on him - guess what - It’s actually opposition research performed by a person that was hired by Republicans and Democrats - according to their own story.
So as they keep repeating Russia Russia Russia there is no explanation of how data made it from Trump’s political opponents to the Russians. Nor is there any explanation of why the DNC did not release it before the election-were they hoping to throw the election to Trump too? Were they wanting to make sure that Trump was compromised?
Oh what tangled webs they weave as they practice to deceive. Besides, if the CNN report was based on the same thing that 4Channel was twittering about, it’s totally bogus information - if our Intelligence agents fell for it, we need to hire some with a better IQ, and the DNC and GOPe needs to demand their money back.
