But I wonder: How many fellow citizens who can’t stop their social media commentary about this sick incident have been just as outraged and outspoken about the regular harassment and abuse that black teenagers and other black fellow citizens endure daily at the hands of white cops? It seems to me that our (un)righteous indignation has a blind spot. This rush to once again blame the Black Lives Matter movement is punitive, pejorative and preposterous.

The moron who wrote this evidently thinks that there's a moral equivalence between police shooting or beating black criminals and black thugs assaulting random white people.

He also seems to live in an alternative universe if he thinks that black on white crime gets even a tiny fraction of the attention that much rarer white on black stories get. Did Omar Thornton's racially motivated murder of 8 white co-workers get even a thousandth of the publicity that Dylan Roof got? How much media sympathy was there for the Newsomes who were brutally murdered by black thugs in Tennessee 10 years ago in comparison to the death of the thuggish Trayvon Martin?

Part of the reason everyday black on white crime gets so little coverage while (alleged) white on black violent crime does is the old "man bites dog is news, dog bites man isn't" truism. But the other reason is the simple fact that the leftist media supports or at least apologizes for black criminality, especially when it's directed towards whites.

These animals are charged with two hate crimes each. The first is the black on white crime and the second is the crime against a disabled person. They can plea down the black on white however the disable one won't go away. Oh those kidnapping charges, they stick also.

Apparently, the victim admired (in his family's words, "idolized") and tried to befriend one of the perpetrators. The entertainment industry and mass media have made heroes and idols out of feral black thugs, and millions of stupid and naive people of all ages fall for it.

The other real tragedy of this story is that we live in a cultural climate where such vile creatures are loved, admired, and defended by the media.
