I can tell you that the only stupid questions are the ones that are never asked.
>>>I can tell you that the only stupid questions are the ones that are never asked.<<<
That once may have been true. It is generally addressed to those that have a real need to understand something but are timid to ask for fear that they will seem inept.
Stupid questions designed to topple a presidency are more than simply stupid - and should never be asked.
I disagree. I have heard countless stupid questions in my lifetime.
You've never taught a fire academy, have you?
So, “boxers vs. briefs” was a good question...by your definition...because it was asked.
Incorrect. Stupid questions are the ones that have been answered or ignored then repeated.
They are a waste of time for both the questioner and questionee and do nothing but annoy the audience
I used to think that. Then I had ten children.
In my opinion, stupid questions include:
Those you already know the answer to, but you're asking again to get attention.
Those you asked earlier, but you didn't listen to the answer.
Those to which the person you're asking has no reasonable possibility of knowing the answer.
Those that are entirely none of your business.
Those for which the answer would make absolutely no difference in the foreseeable future.
I could go on.
“I can tell you that the only stupid questions are the ones that are never asked.”
There may not be any stupid questions but there sure are a lot of inquisitive idiots.
