I can tell you that the only stupid questions are the ones that are never asked.

Incorrect. Stupid questions are the ones that have been answered or ignored then repeated.

They are a waste of time for both the questioner and questionee and do nothing but annoy the audience

I can tell you that the only stupid questions are the ones that are never asked.

I used to think that. Then I had ten children.

In my opinion, stupid questions include:

Those you already know the answer to, but you're asking again to get attention.
Those you asked earlier, but you didn't listen to the answer.
Those to which the person you're asking has no reasonable possibility of knowing the answer.
Those that are entirely none of your business.
Those for which the answer would make absolutely no difference in the foreseeable future.

I could go on.

“Trump has not held a formal news conference for six months.”

Obama never had one in 8 years.

There may not be any stupid questions but there sure are a lot of inquisitive idiots.

I thought that whatever airplane the POTUS is on, was considered Air Force One.

I think he did have some, but than I always mute my tv when he does, so I don’t have to listen to his lies.

Just because a string of words has a question mark tacked on the end, does not mean it is a question.

The media make statements of opinion masquerading as questions.

I say he never had one because the press was never allowed to ask random questions. All questions had to be reviewed first by hi staff so it was a staged presentation, but not a press conference where the press could ask questions.

I mean questioning for real knowledge. My late mother disabused her seven kids early on not to pester her with annoying questions.

Well, that's different. Even so, one could try a reference book or Wikipedia first. It's flattering that the Offspring think I know absolutely everything about everything, but it's a nuisance, too!

No. But who among us is perfect? Thank God there are erasers on pencils and delete buttons on computers.

You've got a great sense of humor. Would you walk around in an unfamiliar shopping mall or some store would you ask for directions or keep walking around? Do you ask a car dealer any questions when buying a car?.

If we became too much for mom with questions(and the whining) she’d play with our heads. If we asked “What are we having for dinner Mom?’’ She’d say “Pabst Blue Ribbon’’.

LOL!

We have a ritual exchange:

“What’s for dinner?”
“Food.”
“What kind of food?”
“The kind you’ll eat or do without dinner.”

Trump shouldn’t take ANY questions from any media organization that was exposed by Wikileaks to have been collaborating with Clinton. These organizations ought to be treated as advocacy groups rather than as journalists, the profession they have long since abandoned.

The changes that would have to occur in places like NYT, WaPO, CNN, etc. are so comprehensive and profound that there’s no way they are going to adequately adjust to reality by three days from now - and odds aren’t good that they will be able to do it given three years from now either.

Trump could massively overhaul the industry by choosing only actual journalists (AKA people who would never be hired by CNN) to invite to press conferences. While there would be the usual cries of “dictator!” from the usual suspects, the difference in the quality of questions would quickly end any serious opposition to the move.

If someone told me how many seats needed to be filled, I could put a list together easy.

If noticed that . . . and it is often seen very often during congressional investigations. When it is the democrats turn to question the witness - they end up telling a story that lasts whatever their allotted time is.

You've never taught a fire academy, have you?

You have never attended a teacher staff meeting either, after an administrator says something like, all teachers will report to....at 6:00pm. There will be copious stupid questions I assure you.

"Mr. Trump, has the media been fair to you?”

“Mr. Trump, have the Democrats given you a fair chance to fulfill your mandate?”

See, it’s easy. Journalists know exactly how to do it - they do it all the time when questioning a Democrat.

Same question directed at a Republican - well, it would never happen.

The questions to ask will depend on who is doing the asking. President Trump should refuse questions from the hostile democrat/communist-controlled media who attempted to prevent his election.

If I were asking questions, I’d be inclined to ask:

1. How soon can we expect Hitlery to be indicted?
2. How about 0vomit?
3. How many people (estimate) are implicated in the Clinton Foundation corruption scandal?
4. How many new prisons will we need to build to hold all the corrupt politicians going there?
5. How soon can we rename all the buildings and crap that have the Clinton name plastered on them?
6. How many murders are the Clintons really responsible for?
7. Whoa, I almost forgot, what is on 0vomit’s BC? What is the real reason he has refused to show it?
8. Also, what is in his sealed records? Did he go to college as a foreign student? What were his SAT scores, LSAT scores?

That would be good for a start. A few serious questions and a few things I’m just very curious about.
