How is a “two state” solution possible?

The Palestinians are just squatters without a country and refuse to recognize that Israel is a sovereign country.

1. I have no idea if a "two state" solution is possible. I'm simply pointing out what Israel's own government has already agreed to.

2. Are they still "squatters" if they've been there for multiple generations?
