Even most Democrats want Donald Trump to succeed as president, but voters are far less confident that things will play out that way.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 39% of Likely U.S. Voters think Trumps presidency is more likely to be a success. Thirty percent (30%) say its more likely to be a failure instead, while 26% believe the Trump presidency will fall somewhere in between the two.
Sixty-seven percent (67%) of Republicans think Trump is likely to succeed, a view shared by only 17% of Democrats and 35% of voters not affiliated with either major party. Just over half (52%) of Democrats believe Trump is more likely to fail, but only seven percent (7%) of GOP voters and 28% of unaffiliateds agree.
But 57% of Democrats want Trumps presidency to be a success. Of course, that compares to 91% of Republicans and 73% of unaffiliated voters. Twenty-six percent (26%) of voters in Hillary Clintons party want Trump to fail, while another 17% are undecided. . .

As tempting as it is to nuke these islands, these pockets need to see good investment and growth with lots of canvassing to whittle away the blue archipelagos. Between that and we repubs crossing over in 2020 to select the RAT's nominee for them, they'll never win another national election.
My business partner has spent the better part of the past two years reciting all of the RAT gibberish about the total disaster which would befall the country if the derelict Trump should ever become President. Today he informed me that he is beginning to have high hopes for Mr Trump. I might mention that my business partner is a legal immigrant and has always voted democRAT. Mr. Trump’s favorability is definitely moving in the right direction.
I didn’t like this “Do you want him to succeed” question when it was posed to Republicans after Obama won.
Bwahahahahahahahaha! Fake polls! I don’t believe ‘em!
