Exactly. I've never met anyone with his pedigree in New York City real estate circles who would be considered remotely conservative by any objective measure. If I had read his biographical profile without knowing who he was, I would have assumed he was Hillary Clinton's son-in-law, not Donald Trump's.
I don't have anything bad to say about the guy, but I just don't trust him enough to put him in any position of responsibility in my government.

From what I’ve read, Ivanka and Jared are much closer to democrat thinking in a number of social policy areas. She has pretty much stated as much. I don’t think Donald will be overly swayed by their opinions. He trusts their perspective and political/organizational instincts, but is strongly his own man politically.
