A group of more than 1,100 law school professors from across the country is sending a letter to Congress on Tuesday urging the Senate to reject the nomination of Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) for attorney general.
The letter, signed by professors from 170 law schools in 48 states, is also scheduled to run as a full-page newspaper ad aimed at members of the Senate Judiciary Committee, which will be holding confirmation hearings for Sessions on Jan. 10-11.
"We are convinced that Jeff Sessions will not fairly enforce our nation's laws and promote justice and equality in the United States," states the letter, signed by prominent legal scholars including Laurence H. Tribe of Harvard Law School, Geoffrey R. Stone of the University of Chicago Law School, Pamela S. Karlan of Stanford Law School and Erwin Chemerinsky of the University of California, Irvine School of Law.

And these clowns think Holder and Lynch did?
I bet illegal alien Law School Professors isn’t that big of a problem.
The WaPo. Home of fake news.
Are they all as astonishingly ignorant of constitutional law as the Law Lecturer currently in the White House?
Not the smartest bunch coming out into the open. Jeff needs to be confirmation #1.
BEST ENDORSEMENT EVER!!
So we know that 1100 law professors are condescending arrogant liberal ACLU types.
1,100 names for some Ko-Ko’s little list.
Sweet.
Thats pretty good. Because I woulds suspect that virtually all law school professors would oppose Trump. And maybe 75% would oppose any republican.
**will not fairly enforce our nation’s laws and promote justice and equality in the United States**
The corruption they have had in force for years, and those who practice it, know no bounds! Sessions puts the fear of God in their small minds.
Those who can do those who can’t teach... And many do that pretty poorly as well. Was Obama not a law professor at some point in his life? He’s been terrible at pretty much everything he ever did.
What a remarkable coincidence! More than 1,100 'Bikers For Trump' are looking for just such a list of law school professors to tune like Bosendorfer concert grands!
Now just what are the odds?!?
LMFWSCAO
Maybe those same professors could take big pay cuts from their six figure salaries, and give up some of their gold-plated benefits so college could be affordable.
Pure bunk. Over 500 law professors (criminal law, at that) were asked to sign a petition on behalf of the falsely-accused Duke lacrosse players, well after it had become obvious that they were the victims of a railroading by DA Nifong.
Precisely ONE agreed to do so — a retired Arizona Supreme Court judge.
So much for the moral squint used by law professors...
What a great testimonial for Sessions.
Who cares what these dip chits think or say.... they and their pc progressive world is history... go away quietly or be dragged of kicking and screaming.
“More than 1,100 law school professors nationwide oppose Sessions’s nomination as attorney general”
Wow! There’s a big surprise! And this is news why? Oh, yeah, because WaPo and the rest of the fake stream media will be running THOUSANDS of stories during the next four years that: “Thousands oppose President Trump about [fill in the blank]” and not one story about the thousands who support him.
In fact, there’s no point in actually reading anything the fake stream media will be publishing about President Trump because we already know everything they’re going to say about him!
[btw, someone on wapo noted this represents only 6% of law school professors.]
Erwin Chemerinsky btw was a prof at Duke University Law School during the Duke lacrosse case — that is, while “Scottsboro II” was happening to Duke students right in his own back yard.
He was missing in action...
He too must have a moral squint that prevents him from seeing legal wrongs in certain cases...
Sounds like a ringing endorsement to me...
remember:
Law professors are refugees from the legal profession.
