Full title: Cuomo unveils plan to give free tuition to college students from families earning less than $125G a year.
“College is a mandatory step if you really want to be a success,” Cuomo said during an appearance at LaGuardia Community College. “And the way this society said we are going to pay for high school because you need high school, this society should say we're going to pay for college because you need college to be successful.”

Actually a liberal arts degree right now isn't as marketable as learning how to weld in trade school.
Otherwise known as K-16, or launder more money through the teachers unions.
Tell that to Bill Gaters, Peter Thiel, Henry Ford, Richard Branson, John D. Rockefeller, etc.

And his announcement at the presser was freaking cringeworthy.

Cuomo forgot to mention that although there will be free tuition, admissions will be cut 95%, and only the children of the connected will be admitted.
Skipping over the government run money laundering program known as student loans to pay the tax exempt hedge funds known as colleges directly from the tax payers...

It was called the public Harvard. Then it changed. Now the kids need remedial courses so they can take the rest of the courses. Thanks for picking my pocket again to send high school failures to college.
And of course there will be the usual cheating on reporting of income.
Not to mention the fact that an upstate family with one child and an income of $125,000 is doing a whole lot better than most.
Someone needs to ask him how he is getting the professors to work for free and the university to not charge tuition.
