I notice it’s only a dirty trick when Republicans do it.
Never any mention of shoving down our throats bad policy when Demonrats have the majority.
Never any mention of stonewalling and stupid sit’ins when they are not happy.

More partisan sour grapes from the MSM.
Howler is LAT expects Trump to resubmit liberal Obama federal judicial nominees for Senate confirmation.
Uh - that’s why we have elections, stupid. LAT doesn’t like the outcome.
They need to STFU.

I heard someone say t.s. when I was small. I asked my mother what it meant and she said, tough shoveling. I was an adult before I learned what it really meant. Telly Savalas?

Assassinating a sitting justice of the SCOTUS is a "dirty trick". The cleaners ensured the evidence was hidden and his body was promptly cremated to prevent any further investigation. Zero apologies for not playing along with the game to kill and replace with a lefty.

That dereliction of duty by the Republican majority not only denied a sitting president his constitutional prerogative to fill vacancies in the court (so that the appointment would go instead to a hoped-for Republican successor). Well it worked didnt it?
I also read in this an either total ignorance of the Constitution or a intentional effort to mislead the public as to the Constitutional powers of Congress and the President.
The power to create or eliminate courts lies with Congress. The minimum number of judges constitutionally required on the USSC is two. If congress so choses it could eliminate 1 or 7 seats. Congress could also create as many USSC seats as they desire.
The congress could also eliminate any or all inferior courts that find obnoxious. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals could be on the chopping block anytime the Congress has had enough
Congress is under no requirement to approve the appointment of any judge or any other office holder. The Congress can also by legislation eliminate any Federal office other than the President himself.

Their own article answered their objection. They said “The Senate Denied”.
In other words, the Senate had the power to deny.
So, LAT, no one prevented Obama from nominating William Pryor to the bench, someone he knows would have been approved by the Senate.

If these (and similar) bitches are whining, then the Senate actually did something right.

no kidding.
Nixon spawned the RATs to establish the OIC.
After is was used on Bill Clinton, it was adiosed as “archaic”....
adiosed with a Republican congress having the RATs screaming in their ear to end it.

YEP. And it’s the senate’s constitutional prerogative to tell the president to pound sand.

All told, the left MSM is getting shriller and it is like a lullaby to me.

At my old age, I’m hoping and planning on enjoying my Schadenboner for at least 8 more years. My conservative FP and Cardio doc tell me being happy is half the battle of stay around and being healthy.
