Then lay out a plan to renegotiate NAFTA and take the shot with Congress and get it done. We all voted for Trump and knew the NAFTA rework was coming. Fine.

My issue is; the tweets were supposed to cut through the media half truth bullshit and talk straight with the voters. But with this tweet, we got something like 2% of a truth since that's the total volume of Cruze vehicles that come in.

Perhaps you are missing where Trump is going with this. GM is big in Mexico. They build their pickups and SUVs in Monterrey, Mexico. He’s simply made the opening gambit with them. And unlike Ford, they got tons of taxpayer money in their bailout. I like GM cars, but I think they have had some $hit senior management for years that needs to get their a$$ed scrubbed by Trump. I am looking forward to more “in-depth tweets” with his “incessant scrub brushing.” I guess time will tell.

It’s only 2% because Americans don’t want that version of the Cruze, not because GM’s artificially limiting the import numbers. If Americans were actually buying the wretched thing, GM would import them by the hundreds of thousands.
