EIT SHEMESH, Israel When Daniel Oritz moved to Israel from Venezuela , his first meal was a bowl of chicken soup. He took one spoonful and began to cry.
For him, the soup signified an escape from the poverty and deprivation he has experienced for more than two years.
We were very hungry, said Oritz, who moved in November. There was no meat, no sugar, no pasta.
Venezuelas economic crisis is so severe that citizens must wait in lines for hours at grocery stores to buy basic staples, or pay exorbitant prices on the black market. Some have even died of basic illnesses because of a shortage of medical supplies.
Tens of thousands have left the country, including a growing number of Venezuelan Jews who have relocated to Israel.

Here in America Jews by large margins support and fund the Democrat Fascist Party, aka the DNC. So I’d guess the same is true there so they were/are part of the problem. They need to stay there and reap what they have sown.
The Church will return to Israel with Jesus at the end of the Tribulation. We will reign and rule with Him during the Millenial Kingdom.
Re your friend in Venezuela:
Chavez assumed power in 1999, according to a quick net search. When was your friend there? Was it in the 90’s (before Hugo), or was he your friend in the 90’s, but was in Venezuela after Hugo?
Just curious. ‘Cuz, if it was before, pre-Chavez was bad, too, although I don’t remember hearing much about it back then.
It was within a year of Chavez being elected.
The fertilizer plant consumed natural gas to make prils for export to the US.
It had been built by the Italian Energy Company and really needed an update.
