For example, the democrats can have 30 hours of hearings for each nominee, if they choose and they probably will. That is just one thing, but since they can't vote them down, the dems will take all the time in the world. That is how it works.
“... the democrats have rights in the Senate that nobody can take away ...”

That is simply not true.
But do the republicans have the fortitude to shut them down?
30 hours, it should be noted that no one cares. Only really political people care about this crap. It will be a big deal to people who visit political sites but no one else in the country will care. Rex Tillerson got billions from a major oil cooperation, he’s completely compromised and is a stooge of the muslims AND the Russians (how that is actually possible is irrelevant). The only thing that matters is does he get confirmed. Repukes control that. John McCain and Linda will make hay about Rex but hopefully it doesn’t go beyond those two fools. I suspect he should get some cross over support. The country is really missing leadership. Does anyone believe that Bernie Sanders is worried about the fact that Rex can have a conversation with Vladimir? He’s all about no war too, he’s just not supporting the idea because Trump is proposing it. Otherwise he’d be all for the non interventionist idea. McCain is a jerk but I don’t suspect he won’t give Rex and up and down vote even if he votes against him.Other than Rex the repukes are probably ok with everyone else anyways so the Theater will be fun for politicos but that’s about it. My suggestion. Ignore politics until the confirmation crap is out of the way if you value your sanity.
Dems endless losing streak cost them (a) the presidency, (b) both
houses of Congress, and, (c) the majority of the state legislatures.
Naturally, Dems desperately seek an explanation for their partys incessant
failures. So after a long, hard, critical look in the mirror, Dems reluctantly
forced themselves to stop seeking scapegoats and place the blame where it
belongs:
<><>the electoral college,
<><>the Russians,
<><> Facebook, and, of course,
<><> James Comey.
