Maybe. I prefer to consider him an “ally” and not a “friend”. That way it is easier to shift gears to fighting him when we have finally defeated the enemy that made us allies in the first place.
At this time, I don't see what views he holds that anyone on FR should want to fight.
And while understanding and agreeing with many of the points raised (at least philosophically), esp re privacy, I still find it a vile thing.
But that's just me, and ymmv.
