While candidate Trump was demanding that the enemy be named, and me-too Hillary was thus goaded into the occasional mention of “jihadists,” Obama tried to defend his refusal to invoke radical Islam. The defense was classic Obama. Part One was flat wrong: “There’s no religious rationale,” he maintained, that would justify” the “barbarism” in which terrorists engage — something that could only be right if we ignore scripture and adopt Obama’s eccentric notion of “religious rationale.” Part Two drew on Obama’s bottomless supply of strawmen: “Using the phrase ‘radical Islam,’” he lectured, will not make the terrorist threat “go away” — as if anyone had claimed it would.
The point, of course, is not that there is talismanic power in uttering an enemy’s identity. It is to convey, to the enemy and to an anxious American public, that our leader comprehends who the enemy is, what the enemy’s objectives are, and what drives the enemy to achieve them.
Obviously, Obama is too smart not to know this. After eight infuriating years, I am beyond trying to fathom whether his intentional gibberish masks some misguided but well-meaning strategy, some dogma to which he is hopelessly beholden, or something more sinister. The imperative now is to address the mess he is leaving behind, not unwind how and why he came to make it.

This article should be directed at MCCAIN, LINDSEY, and every other Congressional ISLAMIST appeaser, not TRUMP.
There is good and there is evil in our world. Islam is the religion of evil. Islam is the religion of Satan. Islam represents the evil side of the good/evil conflict for our souls. The headquarters for Islam is in hell. Check out the posture of Islamics at prayer...butts toward heaven and heads toward hell.
The most interesting thing about the article is that it tries to expand and clarify the definition of the enemy. For example, McCarthy identifies the enemy as "sharia supremism" which, ala Sebastian Gorka and Gen Mad Dog Mattis, separates the moderates (friendlies) from the orthodox believers (enemies).
While this is interesting, I believe that, in the final analysis, it is still in error and will prove inadequate. The reason for this conclusion is that even the moderates will eventually seek a deeper commitment to their faith and, when they do, they will cease to be moderates.
Anyone with an IQ above a pet rock knows the answer - he hates America, our Constitution, Israel and God's Judeo-Christian believers.
If Andrew McCarthy doesn't know the answer to this, he's not as intelligent as I once thought.

Trump arrived at his conservatism because conservative thinking works as a practical solution to government and business...not because he's an ideologue.

Then, if and when moderates themselves become radicals--and many will--they will be targeted as enemies and destroyed.

Frankly, a number of persons we once felt deserved our esteem and gratitude have turned and proven they are entirely bankrupt when we speak of judgement and morals.
American Historian WILLIAM FEDERER presented in my area not long ago on ISLAMIC CONQUEST. He traced ISLAM from its roots (Mohammad) to the present time. ISLAM is a world system that is the polar opposite to a free society. The two cannot mix.

In many ways Obama is politically brilliant, he went from basically a nobody community agitator to a two term POTUS.
He's perfected the alisky methods in modern politics, took the country hard left with barely a whimper from his political opponents, understood how easily our constitutional system can be manipulated if you use the right words and project the right narrative.
Managed to set the world on fire to advance the radical Muslim agenda, put millions on the democrat plantation by destroying jobs, no incentives to work, set back race relationships in this country 50 years to achieve his social justice warrior narrative.
I submit that was not done though incompetence but by a clear and hidden agenda.
Dumb asses can't achieve those things..

Ya know, I was very disappointed at NRO and others for trashing Trump but once he became the republican nominee most came around to support him. That’s a healthy sign of vigorous debate within the party.
What I will never understand is the total lack of debate within the democrat party. Their nominee was a pathetic piece of excrement as evidenced by Trump’s resounding EC victory, yet nobody in her party stepped up to oppose or even critique her. Bernie was a joke. Elected officials, the media, popular culture, and the rest of the progressive socialists were moot.
Progressivism (as defined by the Democrat Party) doesn't work and an analysis or debate of it might reveal that fact.
Hence, no debate, no analysis, no dissension.
