While candidate Trump was demanding that the enemy be named, and me-too Hillary was thus goaded into the occasional mention of jihadists, Obama tried to defend his refusal to invoke radical Islam. The defense was classic Obama. Part One was flat wrong: Theres no religious rationale, he maintained, that would justify the barbarism in which terrorists engage something that could only be right if we ignore scripture and adopt Obamas eccentric notion of religious rationale. Part Two drew on Obamas bottomless supply of strawmen: Using the phrase radical Islam, he lectured, will not make the terrorist threat go away as if anyone had claimed it would.
The point, of course, is not that there is talismanic power in uttering an enemys identity. It is to convey, to the enemy and to an anxious American public, that our leader comprehends who the enemy is, what the enemys objectives are, and what drives the enemy to achieve them.
Obviously, Obama is too smart not to know this. After eight infuriating years, I am beyond trying to fathom whether his intentional gibberish masks some misguided but well-meaning strategy, some dogma to which he is hopelessly beholden, or something more sinister. The imperative now is to address the mess he is leaving behind, not unwind how and why he came to make it.

Anyone who states Obama's intelligence as a given has lost any credibility they may have had.
Obama has shown that without a teleprompter, he is a stuttering fool. The fact that all his academic records are hidden verity this.
Obama needs to be publically humiliated before the World. I hope that Putin and Trump do this.

As soon as he realizes it, he’ll resign and give it over to Pence.
This article covers a huge amount of territory and very clearly defines the islamic enemy.
The author was lead prosecutor of the Blind Sheik and knows a great deal about islam.
I am well aware of that.
Exactly! The halting way he speaks when not reading someone elses words, which thankfully are not that often, is grating and very difficult to listen to. It reminds me of someone overly cautious in worrying about they will say something wrong that they forget what they are even talking about. To me that’s the opposite of intelligent. I read somewhere they think obunghole has a 140 IQ; I think it’s closer to 102 just by listening to him speak without a teleprompter. Is he very good at reading aloud? Most definitely but that doesn’t translate to being intelligent; just a good reader who doesn’t even comprehend what it is he’s reading. I remember trying to learn the French language in high school but I was lazy and didn’t do my homework to actually understand the words.. It turns out I had a gift for pronouncing the words very well and could read French aloud from the book like I knew the language but I didn’t have a clue what I was saying. I think it’s like that for the worst President (oblamer) this country has ever seen. He’s an empty suit who has been given far too much credit for the words of others. He’s a good puppet on strings but that’s all he is. He’s a good schmoozer and fund raiser; so is Pelosi and they have overseen the worst democrat loss of over a thousand in recent history.
Katie Pavlich is the one whom I am most disappointed in on that list. I had nothing but respect for her until she started smack talking Trump.
What is it about Donald Trump that gets these people so twisted up they can’t think normally.
I don’t know but when I see an article I am COMPELLED by conscience to reprint this list of Trump haters every time. I don’t want anyone to forget this (and many other lists I’ve saved over the years.)
I was watching CNN a day or two after the elections. Don't remember the program, but the hostess was a blond woman. One of the panelists was critical of Pelosi, as she had helped lead the Democrats to defeat. On hearing the comment, the hostess shot back, "But she's a GREAT fundraiser!" LOL!
All the money raised by Pelosi ain't gonna get rid of that Obama/Clinton stank.
The question is and we already know the answer, did bill Clinton, George bush or the a##clown? Did any of the rats and rat republicans?
Hey. Katie’s getting better. She is sincerely working on saying important instead of impor ant.
I forgot ..... /s
Sorry, I have forgotten sarcasm tags before too.
Drop the radical part, and you have a better reality.
My support for Trump has no limits.
I can't help but trust a guy I'd be comfortable with to get me home when I'm blind drunk and I've pissed my pants.
I think the one most endearing element about Trump is ..... he's never tried to act cool.
I used to have tremendous respect for Andy McCarthy.
