Bolton is just an old neocon hack. He says tough things, but his mentality is what brought us here. He thinks Bush was just fine.
Agreed. Bolton lacks the nuance for State.
He certainly is butt-hurt over Russia. However, he never explains from his perspective exactly what it is they’ve done to harm America’s true strategic interests. It appears to be a grudge more than anything, from the past.

Yup. A neocon hack. I would have been very upset to see Bolton as 1 or 2 at State. He is just itching for war all over the globe. He should be appointed as assistant under-ambassador to an obscure African nation to get him out of the way..
Bolton is just reverting to form, which probably means he's no longer being considered for a State Dept. position. There was a rumor that Tillerson didn't want him as his deputy.
